Important Traffic and Safety Information Regarding the Borough's America250 Celebration
Dear Bridgeport Residents,
In only a little over a week, Bridgeport will host its America's 250 Celebration on the morning of July 3rd. As a headliner of the event, the Big Boy No. 4015 Train will be passing through the borough at 9 AM.
To help us celebrate safely, the Borough is sharing a designated parking and viewing area map. For all joining in the fun, please be aware of road crossing closures, follow directions from emergency personnel, and stay 25 feet from the tracks as the train passes through.
To reduce vehicle congestion in the area, we kindly ask that borough residents walk to the event, if possible.
