Bridgeport Memorial Playground to Close Temporarily - Starting Monday, June 29th

Dear Bridgeport Residents,

The Bridgeport Memorial Playground will be temporarily closed starting Monday, June 29th, 2026 to allow for the start of demolition and site work. Borough Public Works staff will be working to remove the existing structures and rubber mulch in preparation for the install of new playground equipment and surfacing, later this year. The area will be closed to the public for multiple months until the end of project completion - currently estimated for Fall 2026.

Park visitors will still have access to a playground via the neighboring Cpl. John H. Todd III Memorial Playground, which will remain open to public use during the length of this project.
