LEGAL NOTICE

Notice is hereby given that the Borough Council of the Borough of Bridgeport will conduct a public hearing commencing at 7:30PM during the regularly scheduled June 8, 2021 borough council meeting to be held at the Borough Hall, 63 West 4th Street, Bridgeport, PA 19405, for the purposes of considering the adoption of an Ordinance changing the zoning classification of five parcels of land collectively containing approximately 3.96 acres, located at the Tax Map Parcels of 02-00-01056-00-2 (1070 DeKalb Street), 02-00-01060-00-9 (1082 DeKalb Street), 02-00-01068-00-1 (1150 DeKalb Street), 02-00-01072-00-6 (1160 DeKalb Street), and 02-00-01076-00-2 (1170 DeKalb Street), Bridgeport, from GC General Commercial to TOD Transit Oriented Development.  The following Ordinance, the title and summary of which is listed below:

ORDINANCE NO. 2021-002

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE BOROUGH OF BRIDGEPORT CODE TO CREATE A NEW CHAPTER ENTITLED "TRANSIT ORIENTED DEVELOPMENT" THAT ESTABLISHES A SET OF RULES, GUIDELINES, PROCEDURES, DEFINITIONS, REGULATIONS, AND PURPOSES PERTAINING TO THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A “TRANSIT ORIENTED DEVELOPMENT ZONING DISTRICT” WITHIN THE BOROUGH OF BRIDGEPORT
