JP MASCARO CAN NOW TAKE FLEXIBLE PLASTICS AS PART OF RESIDENTIAL RECYCLING COLLECTION

JP Mascaro recently sent out a flyer to Bridgeport residents, announcing that flexible plastics can now be recycled and asking residents to begin including these materials in their recycling bins. What exactly qualifies as a flexible plastic? Here is a list of many, but not all, examples:

Pet food bags
Plastic sandwich bags
Snack/chip bags
Baby food pouches
Inner cereal bags
Outer wrap for paper towels, toilet paper, and water bottles
Shopping bags
Baby wipe pouches
Bubble wrap
Bread bags
Lunchmeat/cheese bags
