BRIDGEPORT RESIDENTS MAY EXPERIENCE LOW WATER PRESSURE AND DISCOLORATION THIS EVENING, MARCH 22

Hello Residents,

Due to the extensive amount of water used to fight the large fire that occurred today at the BFI transfer station on River Road (Rt 23), PA American Water )PAWC) has stated that this has caused a strain on the water supply in the surrounding areas, including Bridgeport. Residents may experience low water pressure and some discoloration this evening, until PAWC can rebuild pressure in the system. PAWC has stated this should only be a temporary occurrence as they work to restore full operational capacity to the water system.

Thank you for your attention in this matter.
